Great Pair of Binos
All in all, a great pair for the price. Lightweight, crisp and clear viewing, and very compact for 10x50. The only downside is that the bottom lens caps don't quite fit. They are slightly too small, so they keep popping out. Will have to replace them.

First good binoculars
Really hard for me to write a review as I have nothing with which to make a comparison. If I order something and it comes in a timely fashion, feels good and solid if it is one of those type items that should have that feel, works easily and quickly, and, in this case, gives me clear and bright views, then I am satisfied and that is worth 5 stars.

Up close and personal - Sandhill Cranes!
Watching the sandhill cranes come home to Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in the evening compared to our old binoculars, was spectacular with the new Nikon 7432 Monarch binoculars! The annual Christmas bird count is coming up on 19 December 2009. My husband who received these binoculars for his birthday is looking forward to it!

5 Star Binos for Hunting
I have tried many types of binos, including Zaworski's, in the field and these binos hold their own against the best. The big $$$ brands such as Zaworski's, Leica, etc... are great but they are not thousands of dollars better than these Nikon's. I opted for the Monarch 7432 10x42s and use them for everything from brown bears in Alaska to whitetail archery hunting on the east coast. Under all weather conditions, these binos have performed admirably. Only once has the glass fogged and that was in a snow squall during a bear hunt in Alaska. Give em a try, you won't be disappointed. The eye piece covers do not affect the functionality of the binos and in my opinion is a non issue.
I will say one drawback to these is that they are manufactured in China, which is a bit of a disappointment.

Great buy
I read numerous reviews on this product from several websites before purchasing. I purchased this product in October and used them on an Elk hunt and an Oryx hunt and couldn't be more satisfied. The clarity is superb and they come with the no fault warranty. The only down side to them as I read in many other reviews is the eye peice cover does come off easy and the factory strap is a little rough on the neck, but overall a great product.
